Singularity South Africa Summit 2026 ("we", "us", or "our") is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website and ticketing platform, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

When you purchase or register for a ticket we collect:
- Full name (first and last name)
- Email address
- Company / organisation name
- VAT number (optional)
- Payment confirmation details (processed by PayFast — we do not store card numbers)
We also collect standard website usage data (pages visited, browser type, IP address) through cookies and analytics tools, subject to your consent.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your personal information is used to:
- Process your ticket purchase and issue your ticket(s)
- Send your ticket confirmation and event communications by email
- Manage event attendance and on-site check-in
- Comply with legal and financial record-keeping obligations
- Improve the website experience (analytics, with your consent only)
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information on the basis of contractual necessity (to fulfil your ticket purchase), legitimate interest (event management), and consent (analytics and tracking cookies).
5. Sharing of Information
We share your personal information only with:
- PayFast — our payment processor, to complete your transaction securely. PayFast is subject to PCI-DSS and their own privacy policy.
- Email service providers — to deliver your ticket and event communications.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
6. Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, and for a minimum of 5 years thereafter to meet our financial record-keeping obligations under South African law. You may request earlier deletion subject to section 8 below.

This website uses cookies for functionality and, with your explicit consent, analytics and advertising tools (including Meta Pixel). You may withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or declining via the consent banner.
